Basically, the term limnometer or limnimeter exist (again, see below), but I don;t think the are much used. A limnometer is a water level gauge, so in full it would be a "water level gauge station", usually shortened to "gauge station"

I have come back to this question to see if there was any more info from other answers and have seen the ref info provided. I still think limnometric, etc., isn't much used (but might be the safest option if in doubt).

And you would have to specify "water level gauging station" for the term, because gauging stations have different meters for various aspects. (It's Friday, end of very busy week and I'm half asleep! Sorry!)
