I have bewildered myself into a translation of CNC machining center - Spanish to Danish, but as I think the term/frase is related to computer language, I look for an explanation in English or Spanish. What causes me a problem is the following two sentences:
"CONEXIÓN Y DESCONEXIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA Y PASO POR REFERENCIA DE LOS EJES-"
..and
"El siguiente paso será pasar por la referencia los tres ejes giratorios."
The closest I get is the English "Pass by reference" which is computer language. This would fit fine in the context, but have difficulties in getting it to make sense. Anyone out there who could reformulate it into plain language, either in English or Spanish.

The Spanish is very poor, but it\\\'s clear that this refers to the mechanical system, not the software. It is not \\\"pass by reference\\\", which is concerned with the way parameters are passed between procedures in a computer program.

Hmmmm.... Looking at the whole thing again, I suggest that the question phrase \"paso por referencia de los ejes\" should probably be translated as \"return to axis parking positions\", as in:

Como tengo poca experiencia en máquinas herramientas y nunca he visto una personalmente no puedo darte más que una confianza de tres., pero algo es seguro, al fijar la pieza a ser trabajada, es necesario fijar un cero de la pieza.

Naturalmente, si bien son la misma cosa, una aparece en la pantalla y sus ejes se pueden trasladar en la misma pantalla ya que es virtyal, mientras que la otra es real y corresponde a la pieza a ser trabajada.
Se trata de que ambos centros de ejes coincidan en la pantalla y en la pieza.
En la pantalla se pone el diagrama de la pieza que se desea trabajar.
Dentro de la máquina herramienta se pone el material que va a ser maquinado.
