2.5.2.1 Muestreo
Se muestrea desde la cinta de carga.
Si la carga se consolida en bolsas, se deben calar las bolsas aleatoriamente con un calador de mano.
El muestreo se realiza continuamente según norma GAFTA 124.
Para realizar el muestreo se utilizan los siguientes elementos: cucharín, calador, bolsas termosellables, termoselladora, humedimetro, balanza, zarandas y tamices
Se toma una muestra con el cucharín o calador y se vuelca sobre la zaranda o tamiz correspondiente al producto inspeccionado para realizar un análisis visual.

There are different English terms depending on whether the translation is for UK, Ireland Canada, USA, etc
The Gafta rules refer to samples being taken from bulk - ". Increment samples shall be taken by ordinary hand scoop, spear, or by other mutually agreed equipment throughout loading." and from bags "If it is not possible to draw a sample by spear efficiently, then the original bags may be opened to sample by hand scoop"
