Reingreso (R): Es la persona que acude por primera vez en el año al

By CPT definition, a new patient is “one who has not received any professional services from the physician, or another physician of the same specialty who belongs to the same group practice, within the past three years.” By contrast, an established patient has received professional services from the physician or another physician in the same group and the same specialty within the prior three years.

In this case you must define your terms;
New patient (nuevo): never seen before in the clinic
Established (regular) patient (continuador): maintains follow up or regular visits during the year
Established (former) patient (reingreso): known but with no recent visits for one year or more
The US definition of a new patient is that of a patient who has not been seen in the last three years; a patient known but who has no visits at least one year prior to the actual one would be an established (former) patient ("reingreso") by the Peruvian definition.
