Language and Literature Program/Degree Program/Major, College of Languages and Literatures
I have quite a bit of experience translating diplomas and transcripts for Brazilian teachers coming to teach in the United States. In my experience, "Curso de Letras" typically has to do with studying a specific language and learning about its literature. At first I thought it could be "Humanities Program," but this seemed too broad. More context may be needed to give a definitive answer, as programs differ from university to university. Have a happy holiday!

: "Program" and "major" are not synonymous; they translate differently into PT-Br. See comments under my answer.

Program of Letters / College of Letters
In American (US) English, "curso" translates as "program" (not "course"). A "course" is a single class. Here it refers to a program of study, in other words, several courses put together leading to a degree. I answered a related question:
diretor de curso de universidade: program director
https://www.proz.com/kudoz/portuguese-to-english/education-p...
"Faculty" could mean both "a branch of teaching or learning in an educational institution" and "the faculty members". To avoid ambiguity, it seems to me that "college" is a better translation for "faculdade".
college: an independent institution of higher learning offering a course of general studies leading to a bachelor's degree. Ex. a liberal arts college; a part of a university offering a specialized group of courses
the university's college of pharmacy. Ex.: the university's college of pharmacy
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/college
faculdade: estabelecimento de ensino superior
https://www.aulete.com.br/faculdade
NB: A "curso de Letras" does not necessarily cover other languages and kinds of literature. It could be limited to Portuguese-only:
I would definitely avoid the temptation of adding extraneous information that is not in the source text! Additions are considered "errors" on the ATA/Abrates accreditation exams: https://www.atanet.org/certification/how-the-exam-is-graded/... (Sorry I couldn't find the Abrates link.)
Please note:
A "program" and a "major" are not synonymous. "Program" translates as "curso" and "major" as "área de especialização" as opposed to "minor" (área de especialização secundária) into PT-Br.

PS: If for some reason I don't respond to comments and/or disagrees, it's either because I'm too busy or simply chose not to address any negative/disagreeing comments that I've been getting for no apparent reason. My refusal to engage with whoever thumbs me down doesn't mean that I agree with them. Asker, please feel free to message me (via inbox) if you need any clarification about my answer. Thank you.
