by including some element of doubt in my own production, it does not necessarily make it less hysteric, but at least less exclusive in terms of what to do, and thus possibly hyper-hysteric by doing more than one thing at a time, being more confused, less clear, and hence less pretentious. However, I don’t deny that to allow doubts is pretentious too, in another way, as it implies some kind of “greatness” resulting from the ability to afford doubts. Doubts are potentially destructive, and turn into display behavior if performed in public. The destructive potential of doubts is nevertheless widely instrumentalized to promote production: to model the production process, to falsify a hypothesis in the natural sciences, to predict, to prevent, and for potlatch purposes.
display behaviour is also scientific term. 「表示動作」 is not the best translation in the context...any other better way to translate this words?

誇示行動
"behaviour"は心理学では"行動"と訳されます。
ここでの"display"は、内なるdoubtをあえてあからさまに対外的に表明すること、という感じでしょうか。

問題行動を示すこと
Supposing it is a noun, and you want a translation of noun, this is my best shot.
