French term

courant de la littérature

French to English Marketing Internet, e-Commerce perceived risk on online behaviour
The sentence is "Un courant de la littérature s'est intéresé au comportement de réduction du risque et aux différents réducteurs de risque".

I was thinking of "a litterature trend / trend in litterature has become interested in ..." but I'm not too happy with either of them.

Any ideas ?

It's an article on how online buyers perceive the risks associated with buying on the internet.
RHELLER Aug 24, 2005:
what exactly are you referring to? anti-virus software? internet filtering?

Maria, re: your proposed translation, I really think you must use *the* literature here, as it appears to refer to a body of academic work in the field of business.

agree RHELLER : I would just say "one school of thought" - I don't think literature is required

neutral Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) : no...the literature is used in real hard science...these are white papers and the like ..

I'm going on the assumption that this is an academic paper.
