l'unica traduzione che conosco per aiguilletage si riferisce al tessile ma non hai precisato a che tipo di macchina si riferisce la frase (Tech/Enginnering è molto vago...)

qui usano "barbe"
ho trovatoi anche aghi dentellati e aghi uncinati (questo è il termine che più mi convince) barbes potrebbe quindi essere reso con "uncini"
