George BuLah (X) May 18, 2014:
customer-supplied [raw] material Czy to "raw" jest konieczne? Raczej - nie.

Kasia Bogucka May 17, 2014:
That's my point exactly, Frank.
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. May 17, 2014:
I see your point, Kasia. This may not be raw material but semi-finished articles needing extra finishing.
Kasia Bogucka May 17, 2014:
@ASKER Co to znaczy: 'na powierzonym materiale'? Czy tu chodzi o wykańcznie czegoś (tu: wyrobów włókienniczych) przy pomocy powierzonego materiału (from the provided material), czy o wykańczanie powierzonego materiału jakim są owe wyroby włókiennicze?
Client-supplied material wygląda najfajniej, bo jest prosto i natywnie.

finishing of the consigned textile articles

istnieje termin fachowy na wykańczanie wyrobów włókienniczych, po prostu 'textile finishing':

Textile Finishing is any operation (other than preparation and colouring) that improves the appearance and/or usefulness of fabric after it leaves the loom or knitting machine. Finishing is the final series of operations that produces finished textile fabric from grey goods. Textile finishing usually includes treatments such as scouring, bleaching, dyeing and/or printing, the final mechanical or chemical finishing operations etc.

using customer-supplied raw materials = tolling manufacturing

processing customer-owned raw materials / raw materials supplied by customer / using give-and-take raw materials

Fighting between supporters of tolling mainly textile companies, aluminum and many other industries …
