W dalszej laminacji, na warstwę melaminy naniesiono klej, zawierający Novacote NC 275A i środek katalityczny CA 12 (42,7 i 10,7 % wag. odpowiednio) i 46,6 % octanu etylu. Fig. 2 illustrates the lamination bond strength and failure mode for a biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate/polyethylene (BOPET/PE) laminate in which BOPET was coated with Primer B, printed, and adhered to the PE substrate with a solventless adhesive (PL 272A/CF72 from Morchem). The primer was applied at coat weights of 0.13, 0.17, and 0.23 gsm. As can be seen, for substrates having ink coverage of 100-200%, the lamination bond strength is greater than 3.5 N/inch.

LBS values from two different areas of the laminated film resulted in 3.3N/inch to 4.5N/inch.
Lamination bond strength of printed patches with lower ink coverage 100-200% were also measured. LBS values resulted in 4.0 ± 0.7N/inch (5 repetitions 3.2-4.9N/inch) at different areas on the laminated film.
