Freelance Translators and Editors

• Translating documents and other materials
• Proofreading translations produced by external translators and other
team members.
• Evaluating other translators' performance, and providing comments on
changes made to the translated text.
• Conducting necessary research on meaning and terminology to support
revisions.
• Using CAT tools, style guide, terminology, glossaries and other reference
materials effectively.
• Editing texts to ensure correct application of grammar, style guide,
terminology and glossaries.
• Revising documents to ensure their readiness for delivery

Requirements
• University graduate (Bachelor) and qualified translator and at least two years of experience.
OR Proven experience as a seasoned translator (at least five years).
• Proven translation and editing skills.
• Native or near native level of fluency in EN & TARGET LANGUAGE.
• Good knowledge of localization and website translation will be considered
an asset.
• High level of computer literacy, including experience with CAT tools
(preferably Memsource) and Adobe programs.
