Traducción - español Dionel Delgado is an artist of the contrast in everything he makes. While the rest of the artists differ between themselves, this creator likes counterpoint in every heading of his landscapes. On his hillocks, a productive tension between the expressionism in the shapes and the light, and the general lyricism gotten in the composition are seen. But even at the level of different planes of depth and their relations with light and colors: Delgado undertakes his first planes in an extremely realist way, with an almost real illumination, in a woodsy and convinced green. However, while the planes move away, the romantic treatment of the light and the preference for blue and purple colours begin to show.
Naturalism, realism and neoromanticism are ideas shown in Delgado’s art pieces and are outstanding in the same way the composition extends in the illusion of depth. Dionel hits with the naturalism in the vegetation and then puts the observer in the foggy zone where the landscape becomes less tough and less sharp, and turns into evanescence and expressive languor.
