¡Saludos! Estoy traduciendo un relato que escribió un soldado británico acerca de su estadía en Venezuela en los 1800. En esta sección, está describiendo el modo en que los llaneros (people of the plains of Venezuela) cazaban a los caimanes, y se me presenta el adjetivo "bearded" aquí:

"They fastened a piece of meat on a hard piece of wood, sharpened and bearded like an arrow at both ends".
