L'immobile è stato posto sotto sequestro ai sensi dell'art. 321 c.1 del Codice di procedura penale. Indagini sono in corso per accertare il metodo che gli occupanti hanno utilizzato per entrare in possesso dell'appartamento, ovvero se vi sia stata una occupazione forzosa, oppure transazioni illegali con terze persone, collegate in qualche modo alla defunta assegnataria. Gli agenti, durante l'intervento, hanno anche scoperto all'interno dell'appartamento un fucile non regolarmente denunciato, che è stato messo sotto sequestro e per questo, il personale della polizia di Stato ha denunciato gli occupanti dell'alloggio, in base alla normativa vigente per il controllo delle armi, delle munizioni e degli esplosivi.
