I mainly work as a linguistic and cultural mediator, using the Chinese and English languages. I help individuals of different origins and cultures to reach their goals by interacting in a clear and linear way. I usually deal with primary and secondary schools, caseworkers and healthcare entities issues. This job sometimes allows me to do some translations: tourist documents, school, healthcare and bureaucratical notices in general. 

In the meantime, I'm trying to enrich my experiences in the translation field: I have mainly translated tourist documents and also articles about wellness and healthcare.

To improve my knowledge, after my Master's degree in Translation, I decided to dedicate some time to the participation to training courses. I have already attended different courses on editorial translation - the last one being more focused on the activity of scouting than on translation - and I have also attended a luxury and design translation course.

Precision, interest and empathy characterize the way I work. I do believe words matter: I care about the meaning of a word, but I always try to pay attention to the choice and reasons behind it, too.
