I studied Applied economics with a minor in Macroeconomics and hold an MBA with a concentration in small and medium sized business promotion at the University of Leipzig (Germany). The MBA program was bilingual English-German. My work experience encompasses both the public sector and the private sector in my home country. Within the private sector, my experiences include: an internal credit program in the Nicaraguan Military, a business consulting contract with a US NGO, marketing and credit analysis for a Swiss NGO, general management for a leather manufacturing business, project management for a micro finance institution. Back in 2009, I had a short experience as a freelance translator. I was paid by a local research institute to translate from English into Spanish documents prepared by the Ford Foundation.
