My copy of MS Word 2007 automatically corrects the spelling of "inhibitor" by replacing it with "inhibiter". Can someone please explain, or give me a link to an explanation about, how to make it get the spelling right.
Thanks

Check your auto-correct list (office button, options Word, onglet vérification) and delete the entry for inhibitor/inhibiter if you find it there.
Otherwise, check around in the surrounding language/dictionary menus, there is a surely a setting that can be adjusted so Word will behave the way you expect.
