This article hits the nail on its head!
I do offer proofreading and editing services at a fixed hourly rate. Therefore, the quality of the translation doesn't affect me that much in regards to my earnings vs. the time spent on the corrections and/or reqrites.
Proofreading and editing job should always be charged by the hour. Then it doesn't matter whether you spend 1 or 5 hours with a job because you will get your hourly rate. Perhaps then some outsourcers, definately ... See more
