Spanish to English: Rizobacter Argentina received the visit of a delegation from Kenya and strengthen relations with them to export microbiology
Source text - Spanish Rizobacter Argentina received the visit of a delegation from Kenya and strengthen relations with them to export microbiology
The main purpose is to take the latest technology and production methods to the African country to improve yields. Producers and officials visited the plant and received training.
Rizobacter Argentina received the visit of a Kenyan delegation made up of eight government delegates and twenty agricultural producers, the most representative ones from the group in the African country.
The visit, which was on September 18th, was the most important visit ever made in Argentina since commercial relations started, in the agricultural area, between both countries. Rizobacter initiated contacts three years ago to promote inoculants, seed treatments and adjuvants in Kenia. At present, Rizobacter could register their products there, so that everything is prepared and the technological package can begin to be applied in the Kenyan fields, having already the first orders for the upcoming season.
To consolidate the technology transfer process, when the delegation walked around the plant, they could corroborate the quality standards in production, and also, they received training on crops application.
It is worth mentioning that the delegation was invited by the Argentinian Trade Mission. This committee was made up to develop together new markets in the world and to insert high level technology products, entirely Argentinian.
But also, the idea of taking a global concept of high technology production and not just a product to countries where agriculture is less developed. Also, Rizobacter Argentina, is part of the committee of Apache companies (sowing) Echegaray metallurgist (machines to apply inoculants, seed treatments, and machines for the production of bio diesel) , Pla (spraying machines); Richiger (grain and pasture grinder and filler within the silo bags) and Plastar (Silo bags).
The purpose is to establish the concept of tillage system with high technology, associated to seedbeds and agrochemical sellers of Kenia. There, specifically, batches will be produced simultaneously, applying technology and handling proposed by companies and Argentinian technicians, and batches with techniques that are applied in the African country nowadays. In this way, the impact of the Argentinian technological package could be evaluated in the conditions of such country.
It is expected that this trip accelerate the diffusion process which has been carried out with trainings, lectures and visits to fields and government institutions, and tests of products’ yield in organizations equivalent to the experimental station of INTA.
In the meantime, it is already bearing fruits. When the meeting ended, the doctor Andrew Tuimur, manager of the technical management of the Agricultural Development Corporation remarked: “I had the opportunity to vist production plants from around the world, but I saw in Rizobacter the best facilities by far”. After this visit, my company will give greater importance to inoculation and we will move forward with a future agreement with Rizobacter”.
