Bio
I served with the U.S Army, primarily as a Logistics Specialist, where I learned and experienced a wide array of knowledge regarding several technical areas, such as: Personnel Management, Accounting, Finance and Budgeting, Technical Writing, Project Management, Vehicular and Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Electronic Maintenance, Material Warehousing, Issue and Receipt of Material, Inventory Control, Security of Equipment, Material and Documents and Handling of Classified Information.

As a rule I was required to be the subject matter expert in whatever functional area I was serving on. Thus, I gained a deep understanding of this wide array of topics. As added value I learned to become acquainted with a topic quickly and efficiently. I was forced to develop the ability to research and internalize information at a quick rate, providing me the opportunity to converse in a new topic at a high level of discourse in a short period of time.

A considerable part of my service was in multinational assignments, especially with Spanish and Latin American forces, where I was, usually, the translator and linguist required to translate both written and oral material.

After leaving the armed forces, in 2003, I have been a freelance Business Consultant, in this position I do translation work at least on a weekly basis; this work is usually correspondence and contractual items, as well as technical manuals and trade documents and publications. On a monthly basis I do translation of documents to be presented to government (federal, as well as state) agencies.
