Growing up in Germany, I was lucky to spend some years of my childhood abroad on the Fiji islands which sparked my passion for language and foreign culture early on. Ever since, I have enjoyed studying languages, traveling and immersing myself in different cultural environments.

After having completed my university studies in Barcelona and having lived in Spain for ten years, I am now based in France since two years.

I started accepting freelance translation projects (websites and technical manuals) for direct clients during university. My professional experience in the language sector includes working as an in-house translator, which gave me the opportunity to acquire the tools of the trade for this profession. Before that, I have worked several years as an in-company and university language teacher and in customer service within the tourism sector. I have also been part of a start-up company in the field of nutrition, where I was responsible for international communication and marketing.

My educational background is in Biology and Cognitive Linguistics

I have a special interest for material in the scientific fields (medical, biology etc.), but also feel comfortable in marketing, tourism and engineering.
