توقيع اتفاقية المشروع التجريبي لشهادات الهيدروجين الأخضر
معالي وزير الطاقة والمعادن يلتقي نائب رئيس المفوضية الأوروبية وزيرة الطاقة البلجيكية
عقد معالي المهندس سالم بن ناصر العوفي وزير الطاقة والمعادن، اجتماعات ثنائية كل على حدة مع ماروس سيفكوفيتش نائب رئيس المفوضية الأوروبية، ومعالي فان دير ستراتين وزيرة الطاقة البلجيكية، بحضور سعادة روىْ الزدجالي سفيرة سلطنة عمان المعتمدة لدى مملكة بلجيكا ورئيسة البعثة لدى الاتحاد الأوربي، والوفد المرافق لمعاليه، وذلك خلال الزيارة التي يقوم بها لمملكة بلجيكا، جرى فيه بحث جوانب تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق مع المفوضية الأوروبية حول الأطر التنظيمية لمشاريع إنتاج ونقل الهيدروجين النظيف، وبحث فرص تعزيز التعاون القائم مع مملكة بلجيكا في مجالات الاستثمار في مشاريع إنتاج ونقل وتخزين الهيدروجين الأخضر.
كما وقع معالي وزير الطاقة والمعادن مع وزيرة الطاقة البلجيكية اتفاقية المشروع التجريبي لشهادات الهيدروجين الأخضر، لمشروع هايبورت الدقم، والذي يهدف لتقييم جاهزية استيفاء مشاريع إنتاج الهيدروجين الاخضر بسلطنة عمان لاشتراطات الاتحاد الأوروبي ذات العلاقة بما يمهد لتصدير الهيدروجين الأخضر مستقبلا للأسواق الأوربي.

وعلى هامش هذه الزيارة قُدم سلسلة من ورش العمل المتخصصة بين كل من المفوضية الأوروبية وسلطنة عمان ومملكة بلجيكا تناولت الإطار العام لشهادات الهيدروجين، وفرص الاستثمار في سلاسل التوريدات والاطلاع على خطط واستراتيجيات ومشاريع مملكة بلجيكا للتحول إلى الهيدروجين والمبادرات التي تشرف عليها المفوضية الأوروبية لحفز الاستثمار في هذا القطاع.

Pact Signed for Green Hydrogen Certification Pilot Project
His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Minerals meets the Vice President of the European Commission and the Belgian Minister of Energy
During his visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, H.E. Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, met separately with Vice-President of the European Commission and H.E. Van der Straeten, Minister of Energy of Belgium, in the presence of Ru'aa Issa Al Zadjali, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of Mission to the European Union, as well as the delegation accompanying him.
During the meetings, they explored ways to enhance collaboration and cooperation with the European Commission in the regulatory frameworks for clean hydrogen production and transportation projects.
The meeting additionally investigated opportunities to broaden current collaboration with the Kingdom of Belgium in the areas of green hydrogen production, transportation, and storage projects.
H.E. the Minister of Energy and Minerals additionally signed an agreement for the Duqm Highport Green Hydrogen Certification Pilot Project with the Belgian Minister of Energy. The Pact's target is to examine the readiness of green hydrogen production projects in Oman to meet necessary European Union requirements, paving the way for future green hydrogen exports to European markets.
During the visit, a series of specialized workshops were held between the European Commission, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Kingdom of Belgium. The workshops covered the general framework for hydrogen certification and investment prospects in supply chains, as well as highlighting Belgium's plans and projects to convert to hydrogen and the European Commission's initiatives to promote investment in this sector.
