Pros
Easy to learn and fast to use. Very light (web-client). Great comments management + chat feature with clients. Integrated and automatic invoicing.
Cons
Poor QA feature, poor glossary implementation. Uneasy to sort projects, sometimes I'm lost between clients as each client has many projects. Sometimes, even the client doesn't know how to unlock a locked segment or manage glossary updating.

Steve Brown . While I haven't unlocked the potential of Smartcat's enterprise level capabilities, the free, individual option is the most comfortable and easy-to-use tool out there. With a simple layout and basic TM and glossary functions, any first-time translator will feel at ease using this tool for simple projects, as well as larger and more complex requests. To get the most out of the tool at the standard level subscription, there are some costs involved, such as pages and ofts for machine translation assistance - but this can be factored into your expenses when charging the client.
Their support structure and and overall performance, making continuous improvements and even a job center for finding and posting work, make this tool a must for both entry-level and seasoned translators.

Awaiting payment: Customer has approved work and marked the project as complete. Payment is due by the customer;
Processing payment: Smartcat has received payment from the customer and the amount due to you has been added to your Smartcat account balance;
Then the funds are sent automatically within 3-5 business days after crediting to your Smartcat balance or linking payout method. No additional action required.
If there are any difficulties with sending you'll receive an email notification. Once the payment is sent status changes to Paid out.
