Loft Party布鲁克林仓库热舞派对——型男潮男的聚集地, “嘻哈迷”的朝圣地! only the cool kids are invited.Where the guys are friends with Jay-Z"型男潮男的聚集地, “嘻哈迷”的朝圣地!" 觉得这一句翻译得真是出彩!!! 再发一句接上面内容的: Holiday Ranch Originally dubbed as the ‘Black Flag’ group for our one of a kind, irreverent patches, this is how D&S dresses up for the Holidays. Holiday Ranch最初是我们独一无二的“黑旗”摇滚风系列,主打风格狂放不羁的拼贴元素,呈现重金属双面 人假日风格的潮酷范儿。

受Fargoer 和 Yuliang 的启发,也想出一个: 开发者的新世界 拥有者的极乐园 其实,也不能小看苹果中国和香港网站的“翻译”;也说不定那是他们“Cultural marketing ”的策略。

依我看,transcreation 也有多种,可近可远。 有的推销广告语言翻得不伦不类,中不中、西不西,或是堆积词藻,吹得天花乱坠,我个人都是很不欣赏的。 其实正确掌握了英文原文,我觉得中文底子比较厚的翻译怎么翻都不会太出格,可以适度发挥。 主要是要把原文的基本讯息和基本精神用人所熟知的语言比较准确地转达给 听者或看官。

Good post, Fargoer. From one of the links you provided ... The Software Development Kit for iPhone OS was announced at the iPhone Software Roadmap event on March 6, 2008. The SDK allows developers running Mac OS X 10.5.4 or higher on an Intel Mac to create applications using Xcode that will natively run on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. A beta version was released after the event and a final version was released in July 2008 alongside the iPhone 3G.[33] As of March 2014, the latest iOS SDK is for iOS 7.0.[34] This major Roadmap event (coupled with a large distribution program for 3rd-party developers), later became known as the iPhone Developer Program, which currently offers two distribution tracks for 3rd-party developers: Standard, and Enterprise.[35] Applications distributed through the standard program can be sold exclusively through the iTunes Store on Mac and Windows, or on the App Store on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.[35] Developers who publish their applications on the App Store will receive 70 percent of sales revenue, and will not have to pay any distribution costs for the application. However, an annual fee is required to use the iPhone SDK and upload applications to the store.[33] Applications developed through the enterprise program, officially the "iOS Developer Enterprise Program" (iDEP), are exclusively for institutional use and do not get published on the App Store. This allows corporations, non-profits and government agencies to develop proprietary "in-house" applications not for public release.[35] The enterprise program was updated September 14, 2010, to allow any organization with a DUNS number to join. Prior to this date, only organizations with 500 or more employees could join the enterprise program. To run an application on the iPhone, the application must be signed. Not only are the application developers collaborators of Apple's, they are Apple's customers too. I'm not a software guy, but closely worked with software people during my career. My BSEE degree had a concentration in Computer Science also. Software development kits usually include lots of test suites for simulation - to debug software. In this case the "software" would be application software(Apps). | | |
