Sigo con mi informe médico. a esta señora le hicieron un procedimiento para sacar una uña de su pie. Al principio del informe, el médico escribe lo siguiente:
The patient presents to the office today with a chief complaint of a ***painful ingrowing right ballux nail***. The patient states that this has been ongoing problem. Patient states that the nail border has been embedded in the soft tissue and has tried to pick at it.
Me complica el término "ballux". Lo único que encontré es que ballux en latín es "gold-dust", "gold-sand"
¿Será qué la uña está amarillenta, porque tiene micosis?

I think this is a typo and should read HALLUX nail = nail of the big toe, or hallux.

Afeter reading it once and again, I think you are right. Probably, it was type by the doctor's secretary and she read all the time ballux instead of hallux,
