mild pulmonary emphysema

I think they mean "compromiso" instead of "componente", but in any event I think the term I'm suggesting suffices here.
Peer comment(s):

agree neilmac : Yes, it's hard to see how emphysema could be a "component" of gastritis, but then I'm not a doctor...

neutral Cecilia Gowar : They mean "componente". And it is not related to the gastritis.

agree Muriel Vasconcellos : The gastritis had to do with the patient's history; the diagnosis is the result of the tomogram (the left lung is right above the stomach, separated only by the diaphragm, so the emphysema, at the bottom of the lung, would have been easy to see)

agree Carmen Blazquez : I agree with Muriel and Cecilia. The gastritis is part of the patient's history and the emphysema is another diagnosis.

mild lung emphysema/mild emphysematous component

"Emphysematous component" is used when describing emphysema as one component in COPD. I believe in this case you could just say "Mild (lung) Emphysema".

Peer comment(s):

neutral Giovanni Rengifo : No hits for "mild emphysematous component", and it seems "pulmonary" is more common than "lung".//That's true. Let's wait and see what the experts have to say about this.
