English term

thread standoff

English to Polish Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
Kontekst: STAR industry standard API EUE 10rd, EUE 8rd and OD 8rd threads are designed to advance to the
“power tight” position with 2 thread standoff. Due to manufacturing thread tolerances, it is not
uncommon to see 1 to 3 thread standoff, with 2 threads standoff being the average.

A więc mielibyśmy odsunięcie powierzchni czołowych równe 1 skokowi do 3 skoków gwintu, a średnio 2 skoki gwintu.

"When gaging the coupling, the plug gage should screw into the coupling until hand tight; at that point the face of the coupling must fall in between the Minimum and Maximum scribe lines in order to pass as a good part. "

Standoff

According to ASME B 1.7-2006, standoff is the axial distance between specified reference points on external and internal taper threaded members or gages when assembled with a specified torque or under specified conditions. More simply though, API defines standoff as the distance between faces of one gage to another or when mated, the distance between the gage face and the product reference plane.

"Standoff ( P1 ) of the external thread of the casing is the distance from working ring gauges small
datum plane to the end face of pipe.

Standoff(S1- S) + A of the internal thread of coupling is the
distance from working plug gauges shoulder plane to the end face of coupling.Casing internal thread
and coupling internal thread within

Standoff allowable deviation value range of plus or minus 1 teeth"
