I am translating a anatomical pathology report of a woman with cervical cancer, and there is a line that read:

I've exhausted my English and Spanish medical resources and cannot find the expansion for "D.O.C." Any help will be much appreciated.

I think the references provided until now are right pointing out that this refers to cervical cancer early detected.
I have found the DOC abbreviation as " Detección Oportuna de Cáncer Cérvico-Uterino (DOC)", i.e. it is solely related to cervical cancer and not to any cancer.

In a diagnosis you will have to describe this as e.g

: I think "early detection of cancer" is right; but I can't find any evidence that "EDC" is a commonly used English acronym for "early detection of cancer". There are several other completely unrelated uses of "EDC".

It's a cancer screening programme for women, aimed at early detection of both cervical/uterine and breast cancer, not exclusively the former. Here is in relation to the latter:
