I`m assuming that a "pavé" being flat fits with the word "plateau".

Thanks for your help. I went for prominence rather than plateau, as the plateau is indeed located slightly higher up and the text I didn't provide referred to an area further down (i.e. near the pilon fracture). Thanks anyways
