I have Googled the film and the place, no go! It could be a fictional name, you know.. باب العيسى or باب العصا depending on how the khawaja heard it..

Actually Sam, that's it. It's from an ancient movie, Flight of the Phoenix, and their alternate airport is in Al-Essa. I found Bab Al-Essa, but not in Arabic.
