المشكلة هنا أن الترجمة تعتمد على فهم كامل النص أما لو اقتطعت هذه الجملة منها وطرحت للترجمة فيمكن أن تترجم كل حسب ما فهمه من العبارة فكلمة powerhouse
تعني محطة توليد كهرباء وليس في الجملة المطروحة ما يشير إلى غير ذلك

: in this case powerhouse is not referring to an electricity generating facility but is a name given to the pacific rim to describe its capabilities
