Monzogranite and granodiorite and granodiorite orthogneiss:

Large plutons of monzogranite and granodiorite are present in the northwestern part of the quadrangle at Jibal Nakhlah and in the southeastern part at Jabal Tharban; several smaller plutons are present near the Jabal Tharban body. Granodiorite orthogneiss (gn) is present in the cores of antiforms in the north-central part of the quadrangle.
