MyoScan is trademark. People may have started using it as a generic term, just as they did with Frigidaire, but it is protected by trademark rights. It cannot be translated, although the meaning of the term is clear. The prefix "myo-" means "muscle" or "muscular." So, essentially, this is a muscualr scan. But that is not enough. The key word is "electromyography." This patient, therefore, had an electromyography. Here is a definition of electromyography from Stedman's Medical Dictionary:

1. The recording of electrical activity generated in muscle for diagnostic purposes; both surface and needle recording electrodes can be used, although characteristically the latter is employed, so that the procedure is also called needle electrode examination.

2. Umbrella term for the entire electrodiagnostic study performed in the EMG laboratory, including not only the needle electrode examination, but also the nerve conduction studies.

Dipyridamole is a name of a drug, typically used in the treatment of coronary disease. It is possible that this drug is used in the MyoScan study as a vasodilator.
