Subject:ArchenReport Concerning Deploying Surveillance Reconnaissance Vehicles (SRVs) to Al Shaybah Aramco Oil Field Site
Executive Summary:On 17 August 2015, members of the Border Guard, and representatives from Archen and Airbus conducted a visit to the Shaybah Oilfield site in the Empty Quarter. The primary purpose of this visit was to determine how the C4ISR systems of NBS Surveillance Reconnaissance Vehicles (SRVs) may be used to augment the Border Guard and Aramco security forces responsible for securing the Shaybah site and installations. The secondary purpose was to make an initial assessment concerning a long-term C4ISR solution for the Shaybah site.
