Rechargeable batteries need to be cycled for maximum performance and longer battery life. If you don’t use the player that often, makes sure to recharge the battery at least once a month in order to keeps the internal battery working properly.

There are A, AA, AAA and whatever size batteries (elemek) and rechargable batteries (akkumulátorok).

: tölteni szerintem elemet is lehet, de nem ciklikusan kell, hanem le kell meríteni teljesen, azt jelenti az angol // A cycle itt igeként szerepel, és a lemerítés/újratöltés párosát jelenti (vö: power cycle: ki- és bekapcsolás)

az akkumulátorokat rendszeresen le kell meríteni és fel kell tölteni
a "cycle" az akkumulátor rendszeres töltési-kisütési periódusait jelenti.
A korszerű akkumulátorok már nem igénylik a teljes kisütést-teljes feltöltést, mert nincs "emlékező" tulajdonságuk.
Ezért azt mondanám, hogy a fordítás "az akkumulátorokat rendszeresen tölteni kell" lehet.

Ekkor a "cycling" azt jelenti, hogy az akkumulátort "formázni" kell, azaza gyártó által ajánlott módon párszor fel kell tölteni, majd teljesen le kell meríteni.

Szerintem: elemet nem lehet és nem szabad tölteni, fel is robbanhat.
A "tölthető elem" a "rechargeable battery" szolgai, helytelen és sajnos gyakran használt tükörfordítása. Tölteni (bármilyen méretű) akkumulátort lehet és szabad.
Az akkumulátor első teljes feltöltése utáni többszöri lemerítése/feltöltése arra jó, hogy ezután teljes kapacitással működhessen. Ez lenne a cycling=formázás. Használat közben pedig rendszeres töltésre van szükség.
A korszerű akkumulátorok már nem igénylik a teljes kisütést-teljes feltöltést, mert nincs "emlékező" tulajdonságuk.
Ezért azt mondanám, hogy a fordítás "az akkumulátorokat rendszeresen tölteni kell" lehet.

But it suggests regular charging when the device is not in use for a longer period. The explanation of Attila is perfect, this should be formulated in a short form in Hungarian.
