W opisie procesu spiekania:
The amount of recirculated fines is also extremely high compared to other plants. The high recirculation of fines means lost money because of higher energy costs and lower production capacity. The sinter efficiency is also much lower. By adding olivine to the sinter, the most important effect is high sinter strength at lower temperature. The effect will be lower amount of fines in the crushing of the sinter, and thereby lower amount of fines resirculated back to the sinter. The energy costs will be lower, and the efficiency/sinter capacity will increase.
