Nie mam kompletnie pojęcia, co będzie polskim odpowiednikiem tego terminu (pomimo, że go rozumiem) - kiedyś napotkałem się na jakiś półśrodek, ale nie satysfakcjonował mnie, więc zostawiłem na później, a teraz redaguję wcześniejsze tłumaczenie i już nie mogę tego tak zostawić. Bardzo dziękuję za pomoc.

10, 12 and 16 inch discs ... The discs themselves were made of an aluminum disc coated with lacquer or vinyl.
Acetat jest to płyta aluminiowa o średnicy 30 lub 33 cm, pokryta obustronnie cienkąwarstwą emulsji octanu celulozy. Na jednej ze stron tej płyty dokonuje się mechanicznego zapisu dźwięku.

Under the moniker Crawling with Tarts the San Francisco-based duo of composer Michael Gendreau and Suzanne Dycus concocted Operas (1993), or, better, "surface noise operas" (operas composed out of field recordings and studio manipulations) via "transcription discs", a program refined on Grand Surface Noise Opera Nrs 3 (Indian Ocean Ship) and 4 (Drum Totem) (1994), the former scored for four turntables and the latter scored for turntables and percussion.
