To jest chyba najbliższe rzeczywistości.
"Standard price" to cena ewidencyjna ustalana na podstawie ceny wiodącego surowca czyli buraka cukrowego (potrzebna do ustalenia kosztu produkcji produktu gotowego).
Jeśli kupują trzcinę cukrową, to cena jest wyższa od ewidencyjnej i stąd potrzeba rozliczenia różnic. A potem na podstawie faktycznego zużycia buraka i trzciny wyliczają nową cenę ewidencyjną.

In case that silo sugar is produced from purchased cane sugar, the expected price difference is collected on a so-called Delta Material. We understand that Delta Material inventory is created at time of goods receipt of silo sugar. Consumption of delta material inventory takes place at time of goods issue to a 3rd party customer. (...) 2) In the course of the first 8 months, a new standard price for silo sugar for the upcoming campaign is calculated. With this information, new standard prices for all products (silo sugar, delta materials and processed & packed goods) will be calculated and released as of September 1st.
