I understand what they're getting at — the sort of 'sharp angles' and 'sticking-out bits' of the various activities that are likely to cause problems — but I just can't think of a good way to phrase that in EN.
I did think of 'sticking points', but I don't somehow think that conveys quite exactly the right idea...
