Mulțumesc pentru acord! Dar, e posibil ca să se fi descoperit o metodă de placare fără plăci (!) între timp, de care să nu fi auzit noi. Am scris în engleză, mai mult pentru cei care nu au româna ca limbă maternă.

If it is the "placator=tiler” the name of the worker, it is unnecessary the specification "cu plăci=with tiles". Only with tiles the plating can be done! In Romania, the concept has become usual „faianțator” or „mozaicar” if plates (tiles) cover surfaces. Faianțator, for the walls, and mozaicar, for floors.  I think this expression is redundant due to the fact that Moldova's official language was Russian language till 89. :) In English is the same denomination for walls or floors or even roofs: tiler.
