It's not a text 'given out to read in schools'. It's an article published in newspaper x (see the additional context posted by the asker in this very discussion box) whose structure could serve as a model for wannabe journalists.

@ MCristy I see. I would say "educational article" possibly, although this is not 100% precise in its meaning. There is nothing closer as we do not use the term "article" to describe the texts given out to read in schools.

@Lara No. To liken it to a school essay or article or whatever the author would have used the adjective, i.e. "şcolar". This use of the noun "şcoala" is peculiar and the only meaning I can think of is worthy of being in a school book.

@ MCristy I can see that the field is journalism, but the sentence is likening, or comparing, the style of article to that of an "articol scoala", this does not mean that it is an "articol scoala", it means that for the sake of the discussion it can be considered to be in the same structure or form as an educational/college essay. The Romanian is using the term "scoala", there is no need to rewrite the text.

@ MCristy That is fine, I realised I may have misunderstood "soala", but the reference to the 3-part structure would not suggest to an English person that this is a standard layout for a newspaper article, that is what I was saying, i.e. this sort of 3-part structure is closely associated with educational writing.

Re: MCristy comment If this is a newspaper article, I do not understand the emphasis given to the idea of the "3 parts", which is a commonly used structure for school/college papers such as a thesis, dissertation or simple essay. Newspaper articles are known to have a particular style of their own but the context here suggests something with a more academic structure. This is why I suggested the more general term of "essay", which can cover a piece of writing for most academic purposes

context Ultimul articol , al treilea, publicat de X este intitulat X . Cercetarea textului din punct de vedere semantic, indică mari diferenţe în raport cu primele două articole. Calitatea articolului în ansamblul său, fluenţa în exprimare, tonul abordat, stilul folosit în redactarea acestuia, pertinenţa informaţiilor, ne îndreptăţesc să avansam ipoteza conform căreia articolul ar fi scris de altă persoană şi doar atribuit luiX. Ipoteza este plauzibilă şi prin prisma deciziei fondatorilor ziarului, ca autorii să nu semneze articolele. Experienţa cercetării îndelungate a ziarului X, relevă regula atribuirii articolului de fond redactorului şef. Există însă şi excepţii ce pot confirma ipoteza noastră. Evident, până la descoperirea unor indicii certe, bazate pe documente, articolulX rămâne atribuit lui X. Articolul în sine, poate fi considerat din punct de vedere tehnic, un articol şcoală, cu trei părţi distincte: introducerea, relatarea propriu-zisă şi concluzia.
