Corect Ede. Uneori se repara si se revand, alteori se distrug si se pastreaza pamantul cu speranta ca valoarea lui va creste sau se construieste o alta casa.

Demolabila - subject to demolishment; nu se combina bine; ori se demoleaza pentru ca nu merita sa se repare ori este renovabila, deci merita.

Genul asta de case se cumpara la un pret mic si se repara dupa care se vand cu un profit( tipul asta de transactie se mai numeste si "flipping".

iar "renovabila" in engleza are alt sens decat in romana unde inseamna "reparabila"; numai casele cu valoare istorica sunt "renovated"

"Fixer upper" este un termen utilizat frecvent in "real estate"(USA) ( just google it) si se refera la proprietatile care au nevoie de reparatii; de regula nu se demoleaza.

Cred ca il voi folosi pe asta, nu sunt familiarizata cu tremenul. Poate imi puteti da o explicatie mai amanuntita.
Colegii mei, care au facut aceasta prezentare, spun ca omul isi poate alege, fie sa o demoleze, fie sa o renoveze, ramane la decizia omului. Si atunci eu care termeni sa-i folosesc? Multumesc frumos
