I have a problem with the installation of SDL Trados 2007 Freelance on my new computer. My old pc died, so I can't disinstall the program and send the return license code. I saved the license file (.lic) and I copied it on the new computer. I try to activate the software by this file. It seems to be activated, but when I restart the program, this run again in trial mode and I have to activate it everytime. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance! Giul... Hi, Guilia. You should contact SDL. They can help you. I had problems with returning the old license and using the new activation code on my computer. They were able to return the license for me, and they provided an alternative method for activating the product. Hi Giulia I have a licence file for the Trados 2007 Suite, too, but the licence manager sometimes "forgets" where it is. Keep the licence file. Don't return it, otherwise you'll forever be at the mercy of an erratic SDL server or the unreachable, c.q. unresponsive SDL Trados support for activation! Use the licence manager to find the file,which has to be stored on your pc somewhere (not a USB stick) and get the program activated that way.
