Source text - English idioms are expressions which have a meaning that is not obvious from the individual words. For
example, the idiom drive someone round the bend means make someone angry or frustrated, but
we cannot know this just by looking at the words.
The best way to understand an idiom is to see it in context.
Translation - Spanish Los modismos son expresiones cuya combinación tiene un significado distinto a las palabras mismas. Por ejemplo, el modismo "manejar a alguien al rededor de la curva" significa hacer que alfuien se enoje o se rustre, pero no podemos saberlo por el significado mismo de las palabras. La mejor forma de entender un modismo es verlo en su contexto.
