Wordfast Pro 5 - why is Live Preview not available?

I'm trying out Wordfast Pro 5.8 and am unable to activate the Preview > Live Preview option so that I can see the finished document as I go along. It is greyed out and inactive. Does anyone know why please?

According to this web page, Live Preview only works with MS Word and MS Powerpoint files. What kind of a file are you translating?

Thanks Samuel, that would make perfect sense since it is a TXML file. Of course. I hadn't thought of that.... And I have just tried a normal Word file and Preview works fine. I guess I shouldn't have started my trial with a non-standard file! But so far, aside from these teething troubles, I'm pretty impressed by Wordfast Pro 5.8.
