Portuguese term

1a linha

Portuguese to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
This is from an actuarial report regarding pension funds for a company. It comes from Portugal and needs to be translated into UK English.

It comes from a section about the assumptions used and in particular the rate of early retirement and the whole section says "100% aos 56 anos - Direccao Geral e 1a Linha
10% aos 58 anos - outros"

I was wondering if this means executives or managers but I'm not sure.

Thank you very much for your help.

first line manager

It would seem from this previous entry on Kudoz that there may be more than one way of saying this in Portuguese, but as someone responded 'gerente de primeira linha' and 2 people agreed, it seems like it could be right.
