Portuguese term

a intervencionar

Portuguese to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Systems, Networks
Endereço IP da carta a intervencionar

Hi, I'm having a blank as to the meaning of the finally part of this phrase. Any ideas?

Is it the temporary IP address, the current IP address, the permanet IP address of the card?

Just a suggestion. "Intervencionar" derives from "intervenção", and could mean some action taken to cure a problem, etc.

By the way, card would render as "placa", not carta. :)

Sem contexto é difícil saber, mas se é de computadores, pode referir-se às instruções sobre a instalação de uma placa (Lincoln tem razão...deve ser placa e não carta...mas não entra na questão aqui pois é o original que está "fora")

IP address of card to be installed/inserted

A suggestion.

neutral Lincoln Silveira (X) : Edgar, as far as I know from computing, an IP address is only assigned to a card that has ALREADY been inserted... must match a physical item in the system!
