Shampoo Label
"A composição da fórmula numa ***base de baixo*** teor alcaólico, tonifica e auxilia no controle da secreção sebácea sem agredir o couro cabeludo."
From a shampoo label. I truly have no idea what a "base de baixo" is. The package has a Spanish translation of the Portuguese, and in case it's of any good to anyone, here's what the Spanish version says:
"La composición de la fórmula en una ***base de bajo*** contenido alcohólico, tonifica y ayuda en el control de la secreción sebácea sin agredir del cuero cabelludo."
The Spanish "base de bajo" is equally mystifying to me. Eurodicautom (when it deigns to work) has been no help. Hope someone here can be. TIA for any light you can shed on it.

Comment: "Obrigado Antonio. That makes it a lot clearer now. Sorry about the misspelling; my text is a photo of rather poor quality. But I really appreciate your help. Thanks also to Deborah for a helpful answer, which also deserved points if it were possible to award points to multiple answerers! Anyway, thanks again for your assistance."

(low-X) base (formulation/concentrate)
Where "X" in this case designates low-alcohol. It appears that "base" can be used alone or as "base formulation" and "base concentrate".
Perhaps this page and the one linked to it re: shampoo concentrates will help. I'm not an expert, but it appears that there is a base formula or concentrate to which essential oils and fragrances are added. Some of the base formulations are low in alcohol.
