Actually, the term needed is "super-acetonagem", which is presumably a fancier way to say "excesso de acetona", or "excess acetone". For the phrase in question,
Check to see if there is excess acetone in the cylinder
If we had been given the proper context, at aminimu, adjoining sentences in the original Portuguese, we might be able to propose a better transaltion solution.
Incidentally, it's "encher", not "cheiar"
