.890-files in Subtitle Edit

Dear subtitlers,
When exporting to a .890-file in Subtitle Edit all colour codes disappear. Does anyone know of this is normal or a fault in my software? The strange thing is also that I can open one 890-file sent from my customer (with all colours intact) but not another file (saved exactly the same way but with only a few lines of text in the beginning). I assume the problem lies in SE, and that I will have to change to EZTitles...
